Typically, there are two main types of PDFs on Clean Catalog sites. These are 1) individual page PDFs, and 2) full catalog PDFs (referred to as PDF Generators). In both cases, all of the content in the PDFs directly reflects the content seen on the web page.

Individual Page PDFs

This type of PDF is generated automatically for each page. Out of the box, these are commonly text pages, courses, degrees, and syllabi. When this feature is enabled, every time a page is re-saved, the PDF for that page will be marked as out of date, and the next time the PDF is downloaded, a new one will be automatically generated.

Full Catalog PDFs (PDF Generators)

These PDFs are generated on-demand either by you or our team. Typically, PDF Generators will contain all text pages, courses, degrees, and personnel, but they can be tailored to specific subsets of those content types, depending on your needs.

Refer to our docs on Updating Full Catalog PDFs for more details about how updates can be made.
