Clean Catalog offers three syllabus levels in a standard syllabi buildout: global, course, and instructor. This guide provides an overview of global syllabi.

The global syllabus contains information and policies that apply to all courses. This means there is only one place where this content can be added and edited. In most cases, the content found on the global syllabus changes infrequently.

The following are the fields that are included in our standard setup for global syllabi:

• Academic Integrity Policy
• ADA Statement
• Attendance Policy

Please note, however, that we can customize these fields to meet your institution’s needs.

You can access the global syllabus form to make edits though this navigation: Manage → Content → Change “Type” to “Global Syllabus” → Filter → Edit (under Operations column).

On this form, you can edit the content within each field. Make sure to hit Save at the bottom before navigating away from the page.

Please note that access to the global syllabus is restricted. You can reach out to your site administrator to request a change in access if you do not have permission to edit the global syllabus and would like the ability to make edits.
